I really, really hate the warm colour transpink saccharine art and themes of these games. There was a degenerative cultural revolution in the late 2000s to 2010s against anything with more serious themes or features, sharper lines, cold palette or sharper tones being used in art out of a fear of being labelled as grimdark or edgy, leading to a slough of indie media that has the texture and flavour of stale marshmallows and the breadth and depth of a puddle.
