Yea making a fursuit seems really interesting. The thing is that is just has a pretty high barrier of entry because you need to have so many different skills and equipment before you even think of what materials to get. I've seen a few videos of fursuit makers documenting their process and it's no wonder why even just a partial can cost like $700.

i'm not a furry but the ones that look good and not some clownfish color are cool

they probably used to be status symbols a long time ago, but imo learning how to make one even as a beginner is not super difficult (especially with how many tutorials available online) and it instead takes an absolute shit load of time and effort
