Despite the modern hostility due to Israel, roof rats historically were vastly less hostile to Muslims than to Christians and helped them to invade Christian countries multiple times, like the Moor invasion of Visigothic Spain, the roof ratish expulsions from Castille / modern Spain being triggered by roof rats being caught assisting the Grenada Caliphate, and the Donbeh supporting Ottoman campaigns in the Balkans.
