Yes they do help a lot, i use them myself from time to time. They are quite challenging especially because for them to be effective you need to draw a lot of different poses, i suggest not taking more then and hour keep it to that range then start trying to draw the poses in less and less time, when you get really good i’ve seen people being able to completely sketch out the poses and add some shadows in 15 minutes or less. That being said to start actually using these sites properly i suggest you understand basic anatomy first and how to build a human body in a drawing (as in like the basic shapes you need to use)

Oh but real world models don't have muzzles or paws. That is not to say that photos of h*mans aren't at times intriguing and inspiring, it's just that anthros are more fun and closer to what I'd rather spend what little time and energy there are left for leisure on.


Was recommended sketchdaily website a while back, but the timed component feels stressful. Also their selection has a lot of people in stiff poses and/or bulky clothing. Perceived some improvement from doing a few 2-min gestures daily for a few weeks, but then lost interest in doing humans and regressed back to stick figure garbo tier.

I would do it like this 
1.learn the basic shapes so you can build the body
2.learn where stuff goes (bones and muscles)
3.learn to position them in different ways and angles

In all my years of drawing i’ve used the head method only a couple of times its good to keep In mind and try out sometimes but other then that meh

Getting good at drawing human bodies is what allows you to draw hot big tiddies anthro woman, you get good at drawing the human body then you just slap an anthro head on it with fur or whatever and a tail.
Also starting at 2 min drawings is way to hard no wonder you gave up try the easy stuff first

But on a serious note, i’ve somehow came to enjoy butch women (only in the 2d sense), tomboys are fine too.

Ok so i’m picking this back up cuz i was commissioning an artist and they struggled to understand what kind of pose i wanted so i made this in like 30 minutes while looking at a human pose (i made up only the head/neck part) i’d say it came out pretty good, if i had to go back id just fix the legs/feet a bit, other then that it gets the message out pretty well
