Hi!
This is an UNOFFICIAL, NON-CANONICAL short story about Lilija Bilic (AKA Femcel). In other words: it is FANFICTION. Illustration and cover art (which predate and were not made for this work) are by Femcelanon. I just want to make it clear that the character's not mine and... blah blah blah, I think you get it.
As for content warnings: there is blood, violence, explicit language, suggestive themes, self-harm-- it's kind of dark, I guess one could say.
I gave this my best and I hope you enjoy it, but I am no professional writer, so forgive the amateurish style. With that said, do not shy away from speaking your mind regarding this work. In fact, I encourage you to treat me like you would an offsiter and their work. Pay no mind to my feelings.
You can read this page by page in your chosen PDF reader or in dual-page mode (which is why there are blank pages in the frontmatter), just make sure to use even spreads (such that the cover page displays alone). Or don't, that's up to you, I suppose :P
I'm also attaching this edit I made of Lily as a bonus and so that this thread has a proper thumbnail. I think it's fitting.
I think that's all I have to say. Enjoy the preface!
I really hope I didn't forget anything, which is perfectly likely :D

I will read this when I get out of work

No. I've always used those (see the OP text). I don't even think I'm using them correctly, but my high school teachers never corrected me so idk. fef. AI likes to use the actual character as opposed to double hyphens, also.
This was 100% human-written. I guess if you want to be really super duper strict about it, I did use it like I'd use a search engine to cursorily ask about the plausibility of the ending, but none of the text proper was generated.

Okay I'm glad to hear that I was just being paranoid then. Sorry if I caused any trouble.

It's okay, ahhveriflahhg. I forgive you for everything, not that I can speak on OP's behalf ;)

oh my god. i loved reading this!
maybe i'm just a bad writer, but your wording was so poetic, and i loved the attention to detail, like her claws retracting, and the metaphors
the story isn't really that far from the canon i have in my head either. in fact i think i like your version more than my own. also i appreciate her abilities and muteness from my earliest iterations of her. also the inner conflict of being sadistic and the shame of it was very compelling, and is something she thinks about and has to justify in her head. i often think of lily in stories in my head, and i remember having her contemplate the irony of her sick pleasure not being too different than that of her tormentors
now i feel like an asshole for not drawing your request, though in my defense, i have not drawn fun ideas i have had as i am working on the comic. who was the throwaway character you were referencing?
all in all, i really enjoyed reading your story! it's been a while since i read any literature, and i definitely felt the emotion in the words you wrote. my script for my comic in comparison is very, very dull and unimaginative. after reading your story, i feel a lot of inspiration to do more with her story. but hey, one thing at a time gek

>now i feel like an asshole-
Don't. There's a reason I was willing to toss a shekel or two your way for it. I know time is unfortunately scarce and you're busy. And besides, I really meant it when I said I think the story works better without the requested illustration after all. I like the idea of the two cameo characters at the end not being explicitly depicted. The female one should be kind of easy to guess from the minimal description alone. The male...
>who was the throwaway character you were referencing?
... might be a little more difficult since, like I said, I think you drew the one time as a throwaway without even a name. I'm hesitant to reveal who I was referencing since I like that mystery being there for the reader, but I guess I'll just spoiler it so only whoever really wants to know will see it.
>my script for my comic in comparison is very, very dull and unimaginative
It's still really good thus far. It's less like a comic and more like a movie-- or a polished storyboard, I guess-- the way the frames click together so cinematically. It's literally kino. Like a bit of foley, animation frames, VA and I think it really would basically become a movie, like that other guy in the thread said.
Not all stories need to be super deep or complicated. This story is pretty simple if you break it down, after all, which is why a lot of the focus is introspective and metaphorical.
Without you, this story wouldn't exist at all. So thank you!

Thank you!
That was a nice read.
