I will be showing Rocky and Manhunter tonight at 9pm EST, which is about 16 hours from this post

Both of these are great films, Rocky is one of my top films of all time and Manhunter is a great film from Michael Mann, whose filmography I should show more of. You probably know what Rocky is, but Manhunter is an adaptation of Red Dragon, the prequel novel to Silence of the Lambs

If you oppose to the order let me know and I can swap them, but the plan is Rocky first. In both cases, the second film will start around 11:30pm EST, break time included

Haven't seen Rocky but yes, Manhunter is really good. Also recommend seeing Thief (1981) if you haven't already.

Both movies were awesome, my favorite one was Rocky. Manhunter had vibes to it and the music choice moved me, but rocky had a more relatable story and the relationship between him and adrian was cinema

This was nice, probably wouldn't have ever gotten around to watching Rocky otherwise so I don't regret staying.

The 2009 animated film? No. It seems interesting and I haven't seen much discourse around it in the places I frequent. Seems to occupy the same cultural niche for sub/non-normalgiraffe girls that Invader Zim, Coraline and Tim Burton's gothic films do, which is promising.
