Are these real gamer hours?

I found out that an Indian man created the Khajiit and I don't know how to feel anymore

https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit
>The Game Director of Arena, Vijay Lakshman, explains the origins of the Khajiit race: "With the Khajiit, I'd spent a lifetime as a practitioner of the martial arts, I've trained for 30 years, was a nationally ranked black belt and competed in over 1200 combats in the ring. I knew I wanted to make a feline race, and I saw their grace and agility as an intrinsic quality, much like a martial artist. In Japan, the art of the sword is called Kenjitsu [sic]. I modified that to become Khajiit, and thus the race of these highly nimble and agile felines was born!"
the subtype of khajiit in arena don't look like cats, though. but they tattoo their faces to look like cats (like this guy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stalking_Cat )

>>136403
>剣術 「けんじゅつ」 kenjutsu
anyways redguards are more swordsman than anything and that style of combat is not at all "sneak theif" so I'd he may have initialized the race but its far from its current rendition.

also tbh it looks like modern Bethesda cant determine which brownoid country they want their cats to be, but at least in my mind they're arabs

im mostly playing persona 4g right now. just rescued kanji. games pretty busted. i have my starting guy with stats that dwarf my overleveled party members and enough dough to buy out the equiment shop. im going to wait on that since i might need it for overworld activities. imo the game should be balanced around not getting money from dungeons. right now part time jobs feel more like youre getting punished for not grinding enough by recieving less social points also i love leaving my baby cousin at home alone so i can eat meat bowls to make myself more compassionate
on kanjis rescue i like how it continues the theme with yukikos rescue where the shadow at first made it look like he was denying something completely different. also how the bossfight has different status effects for party members based on gender witn him enraging chie and yukiko who can hit his weak points, like how he tries to drive women away because hes afraid theyd make fun of him
im also still trying to grind out cosmic ocean runs in spelunky 2
i finally pulled off the quillin skip (the vlads + spring + climbing one) but died to the 7-3 shopkeep and had the bow crushed. if i could just get good 1-2 shops consistently id probably be able to do it. im usually hoping for gear that makes it likely that by the time i get to tusks its very likely the altar will either give me the spring boots or climbing gloves im missing. i also had another one where i angered a shopkeeper in the temple due to darkness then wasted time tryjng to reach some crates just to give up when i realized the rest of the level was scuffed and the ghost was coming and i died to the shopkeep
i do also want to make a expie mod for that game but id have problems keeping it all consistent between frames

i didnt see the first half
thank you i drew them all myself. i drew the curly one when high and i forgot until the very end that people have arms so i tacked those on rq. heres what it looked like before.
also yeah she reallyis a volunteer. i plan for her to be a side character in a story i plan on writing. issue is my notes are on my old virus ridden pc and i dont want to set it up again to get the files. anyway shes just one of the expies the main character knew back at the lab before getting sent to explore a new planet (not the grey planet i want to practice my ecosystem writing skills) to assess its habitability. this probably wont be something the protagonist is ever consciously aware of but the whole corporation gets their cover blown shortly after. the whole story will be from the first person perspective of an adolescent milky who was part of a behavioral expeurment where they got some random hobos who wouldnt mind being told they need to live on site bc immunodeficiency or whatever and told them to raise them like actual children. most of the caretakers have some sort of mental illness due to their hiring pool but her adoptive mother genuinely does care despite her difficulties. after a chapter or 2 showing the everyday life of them which is meant to be very sweet the expeirment concludes at the 3-5 year mark (idk how old she should be exactly but i do know you double the age of gunsawians for the human equivalent). i want a lot of the story to focus on her internal thoughts and how all of this affects her mentally especiallyas her consciousness gets all fluffy. for example she never got told she didnt actually have a weak immune system (or maybe they did say that when she was absolutely inconsolable after her mother got shot for trying to resist) and is freaking out for a lot of the expeditions begining. also she didnt actually hear her mission objective because of this (its to collect certain samples) and somehow convinced herself if she succeeds theyll bring her mom back then blames herself when she obviously cant.
i want to write this because the reason i think CU is special is because it shows just how fluffed up the situation is. its one think to write a story where they tell you someone has been abused but its another thing to have it shown to you. a lot of people want to show stories of healing and thosr are great but i think you need to have more stories of loss to show just how bad it really was.

>>136414
>my name is Pajeet
>I am a khajiit
>I think I'm elite
>there are beans on my feet

can we not have this thread be about indians

has anyone here beat rimworld? i've played the game on and off for like ~5 years and I've never done it. is it worth???
also what workshop mods do you use

>>136422
i think i almost did on my first colony that didnt immediately die but i lost and didn't feel like doing it again
i should also make a expie mod for that
i really should learn about modding

when i play rimworld i always say this time im going to do the giga base which means this time i have to reroll until every faction has a different one then tailor all the planet's ideologies to work perfectly together and cover eachothers weaknesses but then i give up

>>136422
I usually get bored before I can. It’s just a personal thing but I always felt like Rimworld was too hands on. Like it’s supposed to be a colony sim but if I ignored these fluffers for five minutes they’ll die and the problem only gets worse as the game goes on.

>>136423
there's a framework that makes modding in custom races really easy (and it doesn't require whatever DLC that "adds" races.) I always give up on Rimworld during later game because I have like 10 colonists and trying to manage them becomes a headache, and then deciding who to get rid of is hard because their skills are lopsided.
>>136428
Yeah. Pretty much. The game throws a bunch of cool and interesting events your way around managing the lifestyle of the colonists but then lets it compound when you try to scale and then gives you no option to ease the pressure. Maybe I'm playing the game wrong, though.

>>136429
i wamt to add more than just the races though
like a race frequency mod or something that lets you add inheritable genes like in the game, possibly a rebalance of existing genes to make the inheritable genes cost less but also makes them risky possibly developing mega cancer like in the game
stuff like that

I really need a new game to try but my likes are niche asf. Is frostpunk 2 any good?

>>136430
i was worried that id be unintentionally buffing all the preexisting inheritable races if i balance it by making it cheaper with the alternative being nerfing all the non-inheritable races by making all the genes more expensive for them
now that i think about it though i never use the inheritable races so i think this would be a good excuse for that
i think ill make the proceedure expensive in terms of labor and electricity as well as the overhead required to build the shit. also the resources price if you count people as resources. i think there should be a high chance of developing cell instability or other unintentional genes with there being multiple levels of cell instability beyond what expies have, some even resulting in infant death

>>136431
You wrote in frostpunk 3 into your story and asking if the game is any good kek

>>136435
It was the first thing that came to mind. I’m only really familiar with the first one.

Been back into No Man's Sky recently. I'll admit its not the most engaging game ever but it's a vibe and I've enjoyed the gameplay loop of being able to larp as a starship salvage man :()

an interesting story idea. a lot of my characters were abused, but i feel like showing it can be in bad taste (not that i'm not guilty of doing that), though maybe it depends on the situation and how graphic you make it? nevermind actually i just realized i'm not making a point
CU is definitely an interesting setting, shame it's infested by fags
>>136422
i beat it once, and never touched it again. that game took way too much time out of my life. i made a feline-ethnostate colony where everyone had the xenophobic value. they would occasionally beat the shit out of each other, and i realized (at the very end of course) that they were racist to each subspecies of feline, not just against humans. still was fun having cats in bomb suits and m60s mowing down raider scum to protect the space ship

I found out recently that a game I used to be obsessed with before it shut down has a fan made browser version. The premise is more or less Super Smash Bros in a 3D space with the characters being historical, scifi, or mythological figures. Currently it has some really bad ping issues because the server is owned by a SEAMonkey but apparently he is working on making a proper peer to peer lobby system that should make it more stable. I am kind of interested in hosting a game night for it once this happens since accounts are not required to play, but I can't make any plans or promises atm.

It does start to get a little silly when every ladder I climb there's a spooky sound or a ghost, or anytime I interact with something then turn around there's a jump scare. I do gotta say I'm loving the game so far, the story and gunplay are solid. The atmosphere is 10/10 I just think the horror stuff aged poorly lol
