If you had a 3d printer would you make yourself your own furry figurines?

No.
Yes
I think i would be into trying to turn waifurs into lego minifigures but that would probably require actual 3d modeling experience thatvi dont have, plus i dont think my apartment is ventilated enough not to get myself and my cat killed from the fumes
Perchance

Ditto.
Must have done well over a hundred prints of various kinds by now and haven't painted one. FDM printers also leave visible layer lines so you also have to spray them with putty first, not that it's any worse than the actual painting process.
Most popular print? Articulated shark. Everyone wants one. Sometimes more.

As for where to get those, since web search doesn't even work nearly as well as it used to, finding particular models outside of the few key websites is a pain.

Give a man a figure and he will be happy for 1000+ hours, teach a man how to make a figure and he will be happy for one billion trillion hours

Doesn't that require a 3D printer that works in metal? Such things exist, but you're not going to get one on Amazon for $99. Maybe there are 3D printers that can make a detailed object of wax for investment casting so that you could eventually have metal items? I don't know as much about the topic as I'd really like to.

Metal 3d printers are so specialized and expensive you may as well do it the proper way.
FDM printers can be used to make like 80% of what constitutes a fun but the other 20% are made of metal and cannot be normally printed. Pins and springs you can get np but for the cylinder you need to find or bore an appropriately sized pipe then stuff it with an insert (that you can indeed print) with grooves in it in which you preemptively put wires. You then put it in a vat, hook it up to a car battery and leave it for a week or something to let the electrochemical reaction do its thing and r*fle it.

Then you do attach the resulting groovy pipe to the 3d printed fun parts (which can indeed be printed on a $99 printer, preferably using ABS).
But that's not the worst of it, the worst is the food for the fun. It helps a lot if you have the appropriately sized casings saved up. There have been experiments with caseless but idk how far along the authors have gotten by now.
