I played it, and beat it last night, and I really really enjoyed it
The gameplay is really great, and the visuals are awesome. Music is neat, but I don't think anything really stands out, and the story is decent. If you like the topdown 2D Zeldas at all (I do, that's pretty much the only reason I got the game, since it's clearly based on the GB Zeldas), I think you will really enjoy it
One big critique of the game I've been hearing is that it's really difficult, but I don't really get it. There's a few sections that are pretty hard, but nothing feels impossible or unfair. As long as you're exploring, finding items and leveling up, I don't think the game will feel that hard. (Maybe people are just so used to modern games being stupid easy so they can appeal to a larger demographic or something, that when they play a game with any actual challenge at all they cry about it lol) I will say that sometimes traversing the world can be a bit confusing, as you are not given a map, I had spent like an hour just trying to figure out how to get to the beach area in the game lol. If that sounds annoying to you, you can just look up a guide, I just prefer not to do that, I enjoy learning things myself.
The game took me about 18 hours to finish, though one could definitely beat it faster, I took my time and explored a lot. After you beat it you unlock newgame+, which so far just seems like a second playthrough with higher difficulty. I think I'll use the second playthrough to explore even more, I still haven't figured out how to get to the train station in the beach area...
TL;DR I recommend it, I really enjoyed it, if you like 2D Zelda games (or any other topdown adventure games), I believe you would enjoy it
