If you're coming from anthro.foo following its announced archival and have some questions, this post should clear things up.

No, it's a different site.

It's a nice blueprint and there's just no need to reinvent the wheel here.

The owner of anthro.foo wanted to move on. Since the previous site had a small but dedicated userbase, letting it disappear forever didn't feel right, so a successor was made.

No. As i said before, it's fine as it is. Any future changes will be additions rather than overhauls.

No, this isn't a "splinter " site and thus holds no association with other previous websites or communities. This is a deliberate decision as to dissociate from any e-beefs that happened in the past.

Sort of. If a conciérge marks your IP as "trusted" you get to skip approval checks in your account rather than a single IP address (which will likely change, especially if you're on mobile data). Otherwise, not really. Make sure to use a randomly generated password and keep it stored somewhere. Never use your "real" password.
