Lmao, so it's not a fan edit. Where did he get the HMoFA sign from? Has to have been @'d on xitter somewhere.

The jab may backfire like it did with Brits and Amelia.

>Sir Pavel has yoinked my zero-effort visual shitpost and is trying to make it a meme
I don't know how to feel about this.
>>117639 (OP)
pavel is happily married irl and is likely pretty offended on behalf of his wife that there seem to be people that find women so unloving and cruel that they feel they need to look at other species to find love
i think it is a many people are dissatisfied with the current dating culture not just men. a big part is how clownfishactional its become. of course its sensible to want your partner to bring something to the table like you are but it seems like now people want every "cent of what theyre owed" so to say. this is likely the result of the economic depression thats happening in a lot of places. after all how are you going to worry about taking care of others who provide less when you can barely take care of yourself?

I've said it previously. Can I not just like fluffy tails? I don't hate anybody. I'm not bitter about anybody. I love everybody, including (You). I just like fluffy tails.

i dont think there would be any problems
im just talking about what the issue the comic op posted was about. it was specifically about the people who like hmofa because theyve given up hope in reality. pavel certainly doesnt have a problem with people who like fluffy tails

The guy literally made a name for himself by self-inserting into an existing story as a gary stu, stealing the protagonist's love interest for himself and breeding her. Suddenly shifting the narrative towards "umm akshully you should first bed human girls before so much as professing your love for anthros, incels!" and "escapism is baaaad" for him is hypocritical.

Maybe I just plain don't like the way the look. Much more importantly, I don't like how the overwhelming majority of them behaves and what values they have. Each of us faces a choice of whether to aggressively pursue relationships or just live their lives as they feel like it and come what come may. Implying that if you chose the latter then you should be chastised for sharing what your ideal date looks like is nuts.

Economy definitely does play a part. However for the majority of their history humans lived in much greater squalor and yet married for life and had plenty of kids. There's just a mismatch of what we expect (by looking back at how good their parents had it or what instagram feed spews out) and what we can achieve (with communism not being a threat we are headed towards corpo dystopia). There's more factors in play discussing which would make the post too long.

Also, while we are at it, the divorce rates in Russia are 73%. Seventy three percent. Imagine saying "I do" while keeping that in mind and knowing full well that statistically what comes after is 3 times as likely to end in ruin than it is to succeed in the long run.

In his defense though, apparently some schizo has been annoying him on DA, sending him weekly essays on why pic related would be attracted to neckbeards, for years, so he may have developed a disdain towards manifestations of similar opinions.

It's just good visual storytelling. He has 1 frame to set up the story before anyone even talks.
Also note all the other tricks that are used to drive the point further.
>the human is a neckbeard, overweight, wears glasses, has a potato-shaped chin, unflattering stubble, a stark nasolabial fold, and an ear ring
>hunched over pose and defeated looks
>Suki towers over him
>the anthro has no shoulders, also wears glasses, is a smoker, has some kind of lgbt or rasta bracelet
>arguably the hippie haircut contributes too but it looks well-maintained
>both are wearing basic casual outfits
Just missing sweat stains and cargo shorts. Compare them to the gary stu who is well-groomed, does not wear glasses, is always dressed sharp, does not smoke, is tall(er than Suki) and fit.

His literary game is not as smooth. Even if we omit her jumping to the conclusion that the neckbeard is looking for "help", Suki still calls human girls "ordinary", which implies that anthros are not (i.e. extraordinary).

The comic as a whole is apparently based on the scene with the bum from American Psycho, which actually makes it even worse because Bateman feigns kindness and then stabs the bum and kicks his dog.

It's probably how most people are: at worst, indifferent. No grief caused or implied. It's just that for arguments such as one in the OP the accusers either cherry-pick the more severe cases or create strawmen and then tear into those.

Most certainly. It's a broader issue that affects the society as a whole; it's just that the comic itself stabs at hmofa and amofh side of the equation in particular.

No! It's propaganda! Muh heckin based Putin and muh heckin based Orthodox Patriarchate culture are gonna defeat muh globohomo and save civilization!

...now go look up Russian statistics on alcoholism, drug addiction, AIDS, and violent crime, and reliable proxies for them, like rates of children born with fetal alcohol syndrome. Read the official figures the Russian government publishes, and consider how likely it is that the people writing the official reports don't have a lackey squad from the FSB holding them at gunpoint the whole time to make sure they don't say anything that could be perceived as "discrediting the Russian government," which is an actual on-the-books crime there that can, and does, get people disappeared and gulag'd. Don't worry, muh heckin based Russia, a nation completely free of corruption and led by idealists who pursue justice above all other aims, will save us all, any day now. Yup. Real soon now. Just you wait.
