Redwall series. I dunno why but I fluffing loved these books as a kid. I can recall reading the original Redwall and Martin the Warrior and being utterly confused on some of the accents Brian Jacques (fluffing rip) had put in there. I still don't know if it was celtic, scottish, welsh, or what but I know I couldn't pronounce some of them in english. I do know he made badgers like dwarves since they all live underground in a volcano.
Even though its a children series mother fluffers still die in this book but it's not extremely gruesome.
Like how a fox mother and her son got stabbed by a bunch rats with spears in a ditch and how Cluney ran over his own soldier and laughed as he saw his body go limp.
Only thing that was kind of annoying is that when there isn't anybody getting hot oil dumped on their fur the book sometimes devolves into food porn. Like going into details about bunny and mice ladies making cakes, grilled fish, and all sorts of foods. (I'm starting to think Brian loved food alot since he did write a Redwall cookbook.)
There's also the TV show but it kind of removes some of the dark contents from the book and has some filler in it. (Then again you can't exactly show a fluffing badger splitting some mother fluff with an axe on television.)
Oh and also there's some games of it but I haven't played them. There's also a cooking game too.
TL;DR
Redwall series is the fluffing shit and I like Constance. Go read it if you want more medieval furry stuff.
