let me tell you a story right quick choom
So I'm running through Watson last night after a gig and the whole district is crawling with scavengers, boosters, the usual Night City bums.
i heard shots down an alley and peeked over
there's this absolute gonk getting folded by a couple Maelstrom gonks. he goes down, they hear NCPD scanners chirping, and delta before they can loot him.
i checked the body. Choom's got a legendary Satara, a Militech Sandy, some eddies, and a jacket that's nova as hell. The guy’s flatlined, so i took that shit
Ten minutes later I'm selling half the loot when my holo starts blowing up.
"you stole my gear"
and I’m like... "Didn't you eat shit?"
Turns out the guy had Trauma Team Silver. They scraped his barely breathing ass off the concrete while I was stuffing his pockets.
I was like, "Skill issue."
Big mistake.
This chrome-addicted gonk somehow tracks me across the city. Starts sending me pictures of my apartment building, threatening to 0 me over his jacket.
Next day he rolls up outside Megabuilding H10 in a clapped-out Archer with three wannabe mercs looking like they bought all their chrome from a discount ripper.
Dude hops out screaming:
"give me my preem gear back!"
I just laughed.
He pulls iron.
His buddy immediately shoots a parked Tyger Claw bike by accident.
Bike explodes.
One merc gets launched into a vending machine.
Second guy panics and starts firing at literally nothing.
NCPD rolls in because, of course, this is Watson.
The original gonk tries to Sandy straight at me, clips the curb, eats concrete again, and gets tased before he can even stand up.
Whole fight lasted maybe 20 seconds.
Looted him a second time.
Got my ammo back plus an even nicer pair of Kiroshis.
