Some countries with universal conscription do not have an exception for that. In Israel autists in the military are funneled into SIGINT and codebreaking, for which they often show enormous talent. It's sort of like the way the US military would even conscript you if you were colorblind, because sometimes those guys can see camouflaged bunkers people with normal vision can't.

>Estonia

You have my sympathies. NATO is proving itself daily to be a paper tiger. The caliphates established in France, Germany, and Tha Yookay have now demonstrated that they can dictate foreign policy, and they have made it absolutely clear that they couldn't give less of a fuck about Article 5. If anything they are more likely to align themselves with Russia, just out of spite.

In the long run I think the only thing that can guarantee your nation's sovereignty and security is going to be some kind of regional alliance that can replace NATO, and by "replace NATO" I mean it's going to have to have a significant nuclear arsenal, plus delivery systems for them. This is going to be expensive. It's also going to violate a number of international agreements on non-proliferation. Of course, in the New Century those treaties are all just ink on a page, to be discarded when inconvenient. And nuclear weapons are an early 1900s technology. Vacuum tubes will suffice for the firing circuitry. Poland, Finland, and Ukraine have plenty of uranium and thorium ore, if they have the will to use them.

>but what about my specific personal problem?

You were born in interesting times. Conscription is the least of your worries in the Big '26.

Move to like Portugal.

Transition (on paper only or otherwise).

Find a job that provides you with an exemption from service.

Change you legal name to Muhammad Ibn Anthul, get some tan, wear a turban when outside. Set your ringtone to some nasheed.

Consult the list of conditions that grant you exemption, pick whichever is more realistic in your case, bone spurs or whatever, and then use networking to find a doctor who'd be willing to put that on your file.

Taking the piss route may or may not work depending on whether they are really short on conscripts that year or not.
Granted, if the goal isn't to push for section 8 but to lose weight, that may work if they do have some BMI requirements set.
I happen to know a guy from a country that has a lower bound on a conscript's weight set to 50ish kilos and he was just under that so they let him go. But at the time that country was poor and devoid of prospects or any happenings so young men did not really object to going, so there were more to pick from.

A lot of people in nations bordering Russia have said that sort of thing. Ask the Ukranians how those predictions worked out for them. You aren't in Vodkaland yet, but Vodkaland has a way of coming to you. Ask the Chechens. Ask the Georgians.

You may as well enlist. In the event that the orcs pay a visit, do you want to be the guy with the rifle? Or do you want to be the guy in civilian clothes, who gets handed a ketchup bottle full of kerosene and a rag? Russian voters are very keen in recreating the Soviet Empire. They may be running out of tanks, artillery pieces, and aircraft, but they still have approximately infinity convicts and non-Russian ethnic minority males to stuff into the meatgrinder to make it happen.

It is bizarre. Russian Zoomers see the yellowed sixty-year-old copies of Soviet Life Magazine with propaganda pictures of the shelves at G.U.M. in Moscow overflowing with cheap East German cigarettes and are overwhelmed with nostalgia for something they never experienced. Russian Boomers, stunted from growing up with rickets and kwashiorkor, who spent half their lives standing in line for the toilet paper ration, terrified that the KGB would disappear them if they made a joke about it, pat them on the shoulders and say "Yes. This is how it was. The Yankees robbed you of your birthright." And you, friend, are between them and what they think they want.

Sometimes life drops the green weenie on your plate. Being born between the Oder and the Don sucks. Some of my ancestors came from that part of the world. I heard the stories growing up. I'm sorry, man. But, see. The more say "I don't care enough about my people to give up a year of my life," the more the intel reports on the far side of the border will say "those faggots won't fight. They'll wave us through at the border." And when enough if those reports accumulate, Putin, or whatever syphilitic maniac replaces him, will nod and say "go forth and conquer."

Is this an 18 month conscription or 3+ years?

If it's 18 month, I've seen people get out with respiratory/immune system issues, concussions, and in burgerland le fallen arches. Severe food and vitamin imbalance is traditional, honored grandfather fucking. They'll probably still put you through basic but you can end up serving dein vaterland as a metro system cop or something.

Alternatively, come 1300km south to Austro-Hungarian lands. We have plenty of beer and attractive young people with low self-esteem.

Not particularly interested in discussing geopolitics, but if u genuinely think that Russia would ever invade NATO member states youre actually retarded. All examples listed previously had no defensive alliance memberships, no nukes, nothing.
And in the event they do (which they wont because its genuine suicide) I actually dont want to end up as the guy with a rifle in a trench. I have no ties to this country (not ethnically estonian) and wouldve moved long ago if changing citizenship to any other solid country was easier. And dont regale me with ur nafo xitter explanations about muh heckin "recreating the soviet empire" COD tier war justification, its just a stupid land/sphere of influence grab.

NATO is dead, fren. The US is washing its hands of the alliance as we speak. Theoretically France and Tha Yookay have nuclear arsenals, but their imported populations do not care the least little bit about NATO and their governments might or might not write strongly worded letters in response to Russian invasion of member nations. Wake up and smell the ashes.

>its just a stupid land/sphere of influence grab

What do you think the Soviet Empire was? What do you think geopolitics is, at base, once you strip away the pretty words? What are they teaching the kids in school these days, anyway?
