I just finished it, I don't think it was bad but it didn't really live up to the expectations I had for it after the previous two chapters
It felt like such a tease the whole time, They mentinon Asriel showing up at the beginning, almost foreshadowing his appearance, but he doesn't show up at all gek. It shows off how Asgore is somehow related to Dess's dissapearance or whatever, and that he knows about dark worlds, but we already knew that from chapter 4, we didn't learn anything new. They do that thing where he talks about it but just goes "That incident... that day... where that... event... happened...", like come on! Also the knight shows up for only like 5 seconds, that was lame. Also, the final boss didn't really do it for me, the gimmick was a little annoying, I'm kinda confused why we didn't have any battles that used it earlier, it's strange to come up with a completely unique gimmick for the final boss of the chapter. He also was an annoying character in general gek
Also god damn can this game chill out with all the gay shit for a minute, we already have to have Noelle being a creep for Susie for like 40 minutes before we get to do anything, and then I have witness the gay blue dancer guy and the cowboy dude be all weird... I'm really not even homophobic (sorry) I just think it gets a little annoying
And the secret boss, I thought was kinda neat, (though I certainly wish it was something a little... cooler maybe? It might be the last secret boss, so I was expecting something a little crazy gek) definitely tough but every time I reattempted it I got closer to beating it so it was fun. I do wish that this was the chapter where we finally get to put the shadow crystals together, but alas...
I still enjoyed it though, it's a neat game, and I'm definitely excited to play chapter 6 when it comes out... I just wish the wait wasn't so long!
