Does Averi have ADHD?
Replies: >>117669
most of giraffes who use the 'tism spectrum as a personality are self diagnosed normies who are just in for the label. they are an insult to real autists who try to function as discreet as possible without anyone knowing what they really are.

Actual autists / aspergers are very different to "autistic" people who just have cluster B personalities and want a special quirk to fluff up their image.
>>117647
I was terrified the first time I realised non spergs always look in the same locations on people's faces (an inverted triangle between the eyes and nose), so people can instinctively pick up on your spergy traits without you realising. Quickly fixed that flaw.

if you mean severe autism, that used to be called mental retardation. high functioning autism isn't real. the "treatment" for high functioning autism is isolation in special classes with actual retards, not being allowed to socialise with other children, etc. the "treatment" is what causes the condition. ADHD is the same. the "treatment" for ADHD is giving children meth - which then creates the symptom, which then justifies further "treatment". the only prerequisite for being diagnosed with either of these conditions is being a white male.
>>117668
>nyaggers don't even know how to change settings anymore
JSID
>>117673
I've never seen autists deliberately treated via isolation. And I've seen plenty of non-white autists.
i hear keystrokes. some quirk chungus is pulling up sources on why autism is LE REAL. if you're flapping your fingers on the keyboard right now i want you to know that you're anti-white, you're a useful idiot, you probably took your covid shot, you probably believe the official story of 9/11. i bet you vote too you stupid sack of shit. i hope a werewolf mauls you and eats your entrails up. i hope some really bad shit happens to you.

>>117688
e.g. someone who hasn't completed basic life tasks but has done other things extensively that most people haven't touched. What explains that behaviour? Brain damage? Bad parenting?
>>117688
listen, if we put every personality trait in the DSM and call it a disorder, everyone except literal nyaggers is going to be drugged and raped from birth, alright? if people have latent personality traits, who cares? it's genetic noise. it's randomness. that's normal and healthy for a population
Replies: >>117694 >>117707
>>117673
Okay but for the sake of the patient we should classify these cases of mental retardation so we can better treat them.
Replies: >>117694
>>117693
they should. there are probably differences in the literature and treatment regiments on this, based on whether a retard is actually diagnosed retarded or low functioning autism. all retards should receive the same treatment and diagnosis so there's no confusion
>>117690
and it should follow logically that what would ACTUALLY be unhealthy is if we were all exactly the same in appearance and personality just like... NIGGERS. nyaggers are all exactly the same, because they're inbred, and lack genetic variation. this is also why nyaggers want to rape everything in sight - it's because their genes are FUCKED and they need to intermix for their genetic lineage to survive. you see nyaggers reached the point of inbreeding stability. this is where they inbreed for such a long time (thousands of years) that they cease to have disorders like downs syndrome and hemophilia, BUT, as a consequence they also become fucking retarded. the elites want this for the rest of humanity. they want a downbred inbred retard slave race, probably with brain implantations, mind controlled by AI for thousands and thousands of years. they DO NOT want space colonisation. they DO NOT want progress.
Replies: >>117698
>>117694
There is going to innately be variance in how mental disorders are treated but classifications are good for general treatment. I’d say it’s a thing of it seriously impacts livelihood. Even mild shit like identifying personality clusters are still useful as this has impact.
Replies: >>117699 >>117703
>>117698
Of course you know about autism
>>117698
ok fine but i object to the word "disorder" depending on what we're talking about. schizophrenia is a disorder, clearly. ADHD probably isn't real, so we're just gonna ignore that. high functioning autism is in my view very rarely real - but in the cases where it is, can it truly be called a "disorder" that requires treatment? it's a tendency, it's a personality trait.
Replies: >>117706 >>117769
>>117703
“Treatment” for something like high functioning autism would just be something like therapy to help them cope and teach them how to go about things.
Man, this makes me not want to ever visit Australia after all.

You were supposed to write a 5 paragraph spergout.
>>117690
There's nothing wrong with labeling personality traits. People matching the modern autistic label have always existed. Was it always viewed as a disease? No. And I'd argue we're shifting back in that direction, which is a good thing. In the end, disorders are only considered negative because someone decided they were undesirable traits to possess, but there's nothing wrong with labeling said traits. In conclusion: autism is real the same way introvertedness and intelligence and any other arbitrary trait or sets of traits are real.
Replies: >>117708
>>117707
so basically we're on the same page. autism became a disorder when we started calling it autism - or aspergeres, or whatever the fuck they're calling it now. you could replace all of modern psychiatry with a big radar chart and it would be more accurate and humane than it is now
Replies: >>117713 >>117720

Yes, I guess we are. On this particular point, yes.

and that's another thing. the idea that you can neatly fit human behaviors into distinct categories like in the DSM. the entire thing is predicated on the idea that the human brain operates through discrete mathematical means like a computer, or that it IS a computer, with parts that can fail, and that these failures are replicable in their outcomes. THIS IS FUCKING FALSE. the human brain is analogue, and is massively redundant. if your brain is damaged, the neurons can reconfigure themselves and create new pathways. there are people with railway spikes through their heads, there are men who have had half their brains blown out by rifle shot, there are people with shrunken brains 20% the size they should be, who are either mostly normal or in many case 100% normal functional human beings. you can put rat brain neurons in a wafer, shove it in a RC car full of sensors, and the neurons will start driving the fucking thing around. WE KNOW THIS ALREADY.

not that any of that matters, because most of these disorders in the DSM don't even have any empirical basis in brain science. they can't, because of what i've just said. these disorders are not empirically replicable in any measurable way. almost every disorder in the DSM (and they are very few exceptiosn) is the result of people sitting around a table, coming up with baskets of symptoms, and then putting names to them

ADHD is a real thing but it's only called a disorder because the modern world isn't built for people like that. You can cope through intense exercise & heavy use of timers/reminders etc. Drugging yourself up isn't the only option.

Averi, and many other foxes, suffer from CDD, Chimken Deficiency Disorder. There is no cure, but the condition can be managed. With chimken.
>>117669
Nah it's real. I know from personal experience. I do think that it's very possible the condition could be over diagnosed though. If it were up to me, ADHD medication would only be given out to people age thirteen or above. Although I would be open to a minimum age of 11 or 12 maybe, and that's a huge maybe.

I've personally gone too long without learning the time management and planning skills I've needed. It's because the school system and my problems within it made me dislike things like planners. I went for a while disregarding them as "not for me" or something. But I just got a planner recently with a calender and stuff. It's been working out and I've liked using it.
