Also forgot to add in nature animals with heat seasons hook up for one season then break it off after said season. I don’t think there’s any animal with an annual heat cycle that’s monogamous.

In anthro media, the concept of heat appears to serve as fetish fuel. More like an equivalent of a lady calling a plumber or a cable guy.

Japanese raccoon dogs are monogamous and mate for life. 
Red foxes tend to mate for life and are usually monogamous but families with multiple females are also not too uncommon.
Or so the internet says anyway.

Yeah what this guy pointed out. It's mostly used as a device in furry porn but, as everyone else pointed out, ironically I think it would result in anthro females generally being even less sexually active than human ones given that humans already do have that cycle (which is roughly monthly) and all this would do is protract that period. With that being said, it's not like females don't seek out sex outside of ovulation either.
