[Hide] (408.5KB, 498x372) Reverse Neat short story about a mad scientist with a God complex that made abominations of nature. Despite what I’d been told, it does not feature anthros, since it’s creatures are actually animals molded to look human; the protagonist speaks of them with words like ‘jaw’ and ‘skin’, not ‘snout’ or ‘fur’. These beasts are not perfect creations, which means they eventually revert to their animal forms and behaviours, that’s why an arbitrary Law was imposed on them, dictating what they can’t do, and punishing them if it is broken. This way the author criticizes religion, as the rules are described as something the beastfolk (humans, figuratively speaking) can’t obey at all times (ev&oe it could also be interpreted as a critique of morality itself).
In addition, funnily enough the work shares an argument with Bagi, which deals with the dangers of unethical scientific experimentation.
