Do you recommend I play this game? I need something to Aryanize my soul and purge myself of Tricky Toby's clownfishery after being subjected to Deltatro​on by the Chileans. Will this do? It's the sequel to The Forest, right? I watched a few let's play videos back around when I was in middle school. The only things I remember are a plane crash and creepy crawly nyaggers or something like that.

yes its a sequel to the forest. i enjoyed it, especially since i get to massacre savages and it blends survival/wilderness tech with modern tech. i only played a brief bit of the original forest when it was in beta. new one has a story, but it's kinda wacky
sotf is like the forest if you were a spec ops soldier. as for ridding the sould of troonery, i haven't seen anything gay in the game or from the devs (3rd party Discovery Channel server does not count), in fact i see people complaining about the game not having female player characters or sexualizing virginia, so maybe they are secretly based. i feel modern woke/tranny devs would not make a game about massacring tribal savages

Anyway, modding a game that was totally designed to not be modded seems quite a pain in the ass, even doing something as simple as a model swap.
I did have a passing thought if I'd at some point make a simple mod that makes the Kyrati Royal Army from Far Cry 4 be staffed by anthropomorphic cat girls. But that is an idea for when I am extra-ordinarily bored, which is certainly not now. 
Now are the years of my trials.

Well, actually, before that, I had a minor project in which I attempted to replace night elves from WoW 3.3.5a with a race of anthropomorphic cats. I was able to make a fairly good 3D model that fit all the existing armors without having to re-adjust the positions of thousands of pieces, but the issue was that WoW is inherently hostile to modding, and I had a great struggle with making everything work with Blizzard's proprietary file types.

After I finish and upload my Warband mod, I'd like to create a few mods for WoW, depending on how well that goes, I might make a WotLK singleplayer repack or just host a custom private server myself.
But, working on my Warband mod for so long, I am getting slightly bored of medieval/fantasy settings, and will therefore likely work on a mod for some modern FPS game instead. I just haven't found what game I should make subject for my evil experiments.

the ai one where she is shooting up blackrock gek? i guess it was based more off of sarah's outfit (you hmofamonkeys should know who she is), though collie girls in red flannel and jeans seems to be a bit of a trend

I expected this game to be janky a fluff, but so far it's actually pretty nice.

i only played a little of the original, and that was during its beta, so i can't say for sure. that said while i like sotf, it's lacking in a few areas. for one, the survival and basebuilding/homesteading part feels unrewarding unless you are just doing it for the sake of it. the best strat is to just speedrun all the caves and bunkers to get the loot and items. story also feels all over the place, and some areas (ahem the mountain) are underdeveloped
still fun though, and i like the wildcard effect that introducing modern weaponry has. actually the guns feel underpowered sometimes

Yeah, that sounds exactly like the first game, gek.
The guns and companions seem like a cool addition, though.
Especially because one is now The Collie Collie.

sometimes they are flattened semicircles, sometimes i get lazy and just extend the eyelid shape outward to a vaguely round shape. for the irises getting small i just scale the uv scale property in the material. you can also change where the eyes are looking with the uv offset property
