Everyone who doesn't read old books or learn history* is a victim of SBS.

Shifting baseline syndrome (SBS) is a psychological and ecological concept describing how each successive generation accepts the environmental conditions of their youth as the normal baseline, failing to realize how drastically their environment has already degraded over longer periods prior to their birth.

The term Shifting Baseline syndrome was coined in 1995 by marine biologist Daniel Pauly, after he noted how fisheries scientists and fishers viewed fish populations at the start of their own careers as "normal," ignoring past depletion. It is also known in psychology as environmental generational amnesia.

Lowered Expectations: Society accepts a degraded ecosystem as a healthy status quo.

Reduced Conservation Goals: Restoration targets aim to only fix recent damage rather than recover true historical abundance.

Generational Divide: Younger people often perceive less historical destruction than older generations do.

The result is a population unable to evaluate its own decline.

* Real history that is as close to the source material as possible, not pop history on youtube or in many modern books which is politicised and contains lies by omission

Muffin tops are so ugly man...

I think kyojiri/oppai 10115 should be allowed here. If big booty/booby anthros can be posted, why not big booty/booby 10115? I mean as long as there’s no nudity nor sex then it’s ok

rori (and guro) are an important part of the internet's immune system, but i really don't think that's necessary on a site so small

I think it's my fault certain un-frenly types have begun to appear. I went to a certain other site where I thought people would enjoy wholesome, cute, and funny things. It made them all seethe instead. I'm sorry, guise.

Yep. That's the perpetrator.
>He didn't seem well...
Either that or underage. I think it's the latter, most people in that site behave like literal angsty children.

Rent free, lad!
Honestly, quite a sad sight. These people have absolutely nothing going on in their lives to obsess over our site like this. They have entire thread just for us, it seems...
What do i have to say? Figures. It is what it is, even.
I'm gonna go to work and delete this thread when i come back, and hopefully never get to discuss about such an unhealthy place here again.

Lachlan, i don't lurk your site. Your users just keep coming here by their own accord and continue to make fools of themselves with stuff like that hissy fit on /meta/.

My man. Let it go. It's sad and pathetic. Almost no one even thinks about your website here, yet your users continue to lurk, screenshot and spike their cortisol levels over the most mundane stuff ever.

Just move on, man. Floof is gone, i wasn't even present when you two had your dumb beef. I don't even know what really happened and nor do i care about it.
Work for your own community so they can do good, productive things instead of obsessively snarking over a place that doesn't even know they exist. And no, i'm not posting in your site, you don't even allow the use of VPNs.... in an anonymous imageboard. Pfuh.
Come on man, go help yourselves instead of doing this shit. Peace.
