bro it only took me a month but I just finished reading chapter 2. For being a writer or whatever, I fluffing hate reading, probs because I did my life's share of that shit as a whelp. There were a handful of grammatical errors, but it's good overall. It's been a while since I read the first two sections (and I accidentally read earlier draft versions of them instead), so I'm likely forgetting some stuff, but I do have some questions like how in the world everyone so happens to speak the same language. I am enjoying the grotesque character designs and worldbuilding.
The one thing I'd add, really, is just illustrations of the different species and maybe even major characters. That is: I'd embed them in the text itself, or as an attachment or collection somewhere. I say this because, at least early on in those drafts I mentioned, some species names just get namedropped without further description and I'm left scratching my head. Maybe a glossary too for certain terms like "parcel". Though that's not nearly as essential. It's pretty easy to infer those. Especially since the worldbuilding is so alien and it's sci-fi, I think these could work. Think like "species profiles" embedded somewhere in the text.
Maybe that's addressed in the revisions or others have already pointed it out before me, in which case: sorry. gek.

>how in the world everyone so happens to speak the same language
In the prologue, the Elanians know the human language through translation equipment. In the later chapters everyone is Elanian so they all speak the same language. There will be some language barrier issues later on
>The one thing I'd add, really, is just illustrations of the different species and maybe even major characters
Perhaps there can be a collection at the back showing what each species looks like or they can be placed in between chapters as they become relevant
>some species names just get namedropped without further description and I'm left scratching my head
It's a bit difficult to introduce so many species and give them adequate descriptions without slowing the pace to a crawl, but I'll see what I can do
>Think like "species profiles" embedded somewhere in the text
Like a Mass Effect type codex entry? I don't want to do too much lore dumping outside the story itself but perhaps a brief overview is fine

We will be airdropping this behind humoid lines so they are too distracted to fight back

Also a random little useless detail is that I limited myself to three lines per letter for Myra's dialogue. This is a subtle hint that meebs are retarded

To put it lightly... Chud Wesfallen isn't the most likable person in the world. I mean, he's kinda a chud(no shit). Now in his senior year in high school, he hopes to cruise through without getting into too much trouble. But everything changes when his furmer bully ends up in the same class as him. Maybe he'll furgive her... maybe they'll fall in love... if a certain Latinx fox doesn't get in the way first!

So uhh, this is a reboot of the fic I've been writing in this thread >>42036
It wasn't meant to be serious; it was originally intended as a shitpost. But I wanted to do this story justice, and I kinda felt bad since I hijacked that anons' thread. If anything, you can consider that one to be a rough draft. I think I'm gonna remove a certain event that occurs, so it's more slowburn o algo.
I'll try to make at least one entry per week, no promises though! Quality over quantity or however the double bacon quarter pounder is served.

>erm are they gonna have seggs?
Im sorry gooners, but this is an SFW website after all. Some suggestive stuff may happen tho, and I'll be sure to spoil it. And fur the record, they're all 18 or about to be.

>who does Chud get with in the end?
I'd rather not spoil it. Though I wouldn't blame you fur thinking I'm biased based on my flag...

Is their anything about the new chapters that stands out to you compared to the older ones? Is the quality and readability better?

The writing got more mature, less imageboard greentextish the best way I can describe it.
The flow of the story improved, natural interactions with actions that move the plot forward while also giving time for downtime and exploring the characters.
I can't really point at anything specific, not very good with analyzing writing or media in general, but my impression of the story got better. So if possible just do what you're doing

I think she's too big of a target to last long by herself doe...

Also, it's been 1 year since I first posted this story, and I just wanna say big THANKS to everyone for supporting this project! I never imagined this shitpost would be the thing it is today, and I'm grateful that this site's existence made this story possible! Hopefully, I'll finish the last few chapters for this fic by the end of August (No promises, though) so I can finally focus on doing other stuff without feeling guilty. I think I'll return to do MPCL 2 (Which will cover the second half of Chud's pathetic senior year and answer whether or not he gets a vixen gf 4 life) either early next year or later THIS year, depending on my mood and how things go.

tl;dr I need to transform from one co-ordinate system to another.

I have a co-ordinate system A with two points a1 and a2 that form the vector a.
I have a co-ordinate system B with two points b1 and b2 that form the vector b.

The axes of A and B are not parallel (either system may be rotated relative to another with angle θ.

Given a point a3, translate it to b3.

>inb4 ask chatgpt
I will, but only if I can't get help from a human. I can't make a question on math.stackexchange.com and I don't know any other place to get help. I can't figure this out on my own btw, I know a related concept https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matrix_similarity but this doesn't apply to my problem. Pls halp!

Even if that were the case, you could still use math to find the optimal plant placement. This is true for gardening as well.

I do wish I could help you, but I have no idea what I'm looking at.
>>125432 (OP)
Shift the vector, scale and then rotate?
Shift: B-A = <b1-a1, b2-a2>
Scale: |B| / |A|
Rotate: θ = arccos(a ⋅ b / (|a|*|b|))
Not a clue how to perform the point shift operations mathematically, but I'm sure these 3 are in there somewhere.
